'Looking for Ngujakura' wall hanging is part of an unfolding series based on the stolen wages of Aboriginal Stockmen and Stockwomen from North Queensland prior to 1960. This series also explores the institutionalized interference between our people and their Culture. Ngujakura is the Kuku Yalanji word for Dreamtime.
This piece is a one-off wall hanging using patchwork techniques and hand-painted.
