About
WAYMBUL WAS BORN OUT OF A KNOWING
After spending years trying to fit into the box of the 'helper', I realised 1) that being helpful isn't my calling, in fact it was programming. And 2) that we truly cannot help anyone, we can only help ourselves.
We can however incite change by living authentically. With that framework, I knew it was time to give in to the calling of creating.
AND A DEEP REVERENCE FOR SIMPLISTIC DESIGN
Raw textures, simple design.
Waymbul seeks to add to the peace you aim to create in your spaces. Every piece is built by hand, designed intentionally and tested thoroughly to make sure it passes the test.
LOOKING FOR A WAY TO SLOW DOWN
After years of feeling overwhelmed by the cycle of work, study, trauma, illness and disconnect, I craved release. My soul knowing the antidote be simpler times, a chance to feel in control of my happiness and outcomes. Waymbul was built upon this concept, used as a vehicle to drive that and is also an offering for others to find ways to slow down.
AND TO EMBODY THE GENTLE FORCE WE NEED
Ceramics asks for gentle. In order to handbuild, to join coils and yeild shapes, we need to be gentle. Clay in its raw form is fragile, and needs the utmost respect and care while forming. It's a great analogy for how we treat ourselves and are treated. How can we expect to flourish, thrive and be healthy when we dishonour our own boundaries & become our own worst critics? Waymbul honours our needs and nurtures our growth.
